Albanian Customs Seize, Destroy Counterfeit Sneakers, Apparel

This month the Albanian customs officials seized and destroyed 1,657 counterfeit items, mostly sneakers and T-shirts, bearing the marks of Prada, Nike, Lacoste, Adidas and Puma.
The goods originated in China and were seized at the Port of Durres, the largest port in Albania, located on the central Albanian coast. The fake items were destroyed at private business premises in Albania’s capital Tirana in the presence of trademark representatives and customs officials.
