Letters With Diacritical Signs Now Allowed in Romanian Domain Names

As of last month, it is possible to register .ro domain names containing letters with diacritical signs – ă, â, î, ș, and ț.
The .ro domain registry announced that a number of domain names had been reserved for national authorities, public institutions and cities, for example, bucurești.ro – the name of the country’s capital.
