Changes in Effect for the Albania Patent and Trademark Office

In May 2006 the Albanian Patent and Trademark Office (PTO) came under the authority of the Ministry of Economy, Commerce and Energy. The PTO was previously governed by the Albanian Council of Ministers.

Based on the recommendation from the Ministry of Economy, Commerce and Energy, the Prime Minister determines the structure and the personnel of the PTO.
