The representatives of PETOŠEVIĆ Serbia and the local customs authorities have recently organized and witnessed the destruction of 840 towels and 840 children’s jeans found to infringe the intellectual property rights of FC Barcelona.

On August 28, 2014, the counterfeit goods were taken to the city waste yard in Belgrade where they were destroyed with a truck tire shredder, compacted and covered with waste and soil.

The infringing goods were discovered and seized on two separate occasions this year. The towels were intended for the Serbian market and the jeans for the Swiss market.

You can see the photos of the destruction in our gallery.
