On August 30, 2018, a PETOŠEVIĆ Montenegro representative and local customs authorities witnessed the destruction of nearly 900 items found to infringe the Nike®, Hermès® and Dsquared2® trademarks.

The goods, which were destroyed in the capital of Podgorica, included:

  • 189 pairs of sneakers and 382 sportswear items, mostly tracksuits and shorts, infringing the Nike® trademark;
  • 277 clothing items and accessories, including dresses, T-shirts, handbags, belts and scarves, infringing the Hermès® trademark; and
  • 36 leather jackets infringing the Dsquared2® trademark.

The counterfeits were seized during 2017 at various customs terminals in Podgorica and were intended for local companies from Podgorica and the towns of Budva, Nikšić and Bijelo Polje.
