Bulgarian Customs Seize Counterfeit Perfumes, Bags, Shoes

Bulgaria’s National Customs Agency has recently reported the seizure of perfumes, footwear, clothing items and handbags, bearing well-known brand names, believed to be counterfeit, at the Malko Tarnovo border crossing point, in southeastern Bulgaria.

The officials seized 1355 bottles of perfume bearing the brand Loris, after discovering them in a car with Turkish license plates traveling from Turkey to Bulgaria.

In addition, 179 handbags, footwear and men’s clothing items bearing the marks of 16 brands, including Valentino, Burberry, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Armani and Tommy Hilfiger, were seized in a bus with Bulgarian license plates, traveling from Turkey to Bulgaria.
