Serbia and OHIM Sign Cooperation Agreement
On September 23, 2014, in Geneva, Switzerland, the head of the Serbian IPO Branka Totic and the president of the Office for Harmonization in the Internal Market (OHIM) Antonio Campinos signed an agreement identifying areas for future cooperation between the Serbian IPO and OHIM.
The agreement aims to improve technical cooperation between the two offices through a number of activities related to the protection of trademarks and industrial designs. These activities include the organization of various training programs for the Serbian IPO employees, improvement of electronic and information systems related to the trademark and industrial design databases, harmonization of practices in the field of trademarks and industrial designs, as well as cooperation in the field of law enforcement.
