Serbian Customs Seize Counterfeit Kids Clothing Sets

This month the Serbian customs officials seized 1,100 children’s clothing sets under suspicion that they infringe the intellectual property rights of the animated television series the Smurfs.

The customs officials discovered the clothes at the container terminal at the railway station in the capital of Belgrade. The shipment arrived by rail from the port of Rijeka, southwestern Croatia, and was intended for a Chinese importer from the city of Pancevo, 15 kilometers northeast from Belgrade.
