Igor Alfiorov to Present at LESI Pan-European Conference in Israel

PETOŠEVIĆ Associate Igor Alfiorov will hold a presentation as part of the panel “IP law and Practices in Turbulent Geopolitical Environments“ during the 2023 Pan-European Conference hosted by the Israeli Chapter of Licensing Executives Society (LES) on October 10-11, 2023 in Jerusalem.

The presentation, to be held on October 11, 2023, will focus on IP protection in Eastern Europe, Caucasus and Central Asia in view of the geopolitical turmoil following the escalation of the Russian-Ukrainian war in February 2022.

It will cover recent developments in the realm of IP in the region, spanning both national and regional perspectives, including the question of whether Eurasian patent, design and trademark systems remain effective tools for securing IP rights.

From the national perspective, the presentation will focus on recent developments in Ukraine and Azerbaijan, countries in which Igor is based.
