Hungarian Customs Seize EUR 50,000 Worth of Counterfeit Perfumes

The Hungarian National Tax and Customs Administration (NTCA) officials have recently seized 2,500 counterfeit perfumes, worth EUR 50,000 (USD 57,000), bearing Gucci, Chanel and Dior marks, among others.

The officials discovered the fake perfumes near the village of Vámosszabadi, close to the Austrian border, while inspecting a truck driven by a Hungarian citizen travelling from Slovakia to Budapest.

The perfumes were intended for a Budapest shop selling products from the Far East.
