Romanian Customs Seize EUR 845,000 Worth of Counterfeits

In the time period November 19 – December 2, 2015, Romanian customs officials seized various products believed to be counterfeit, the total value of which is estimated at EUR 845,300 (USD 923,500).

The seized products included men’s jackets, ball bearings, headphones, mini radios, toy cars and balls, believed to infringe DSquared, Hermes, SKF, Volkswagen, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Smiley, Spiderman, Angry Birds, Audi, Mercedes Benz, BMW and Land Rover trademarks, among others.

The goods were seized at the port of Constanta, south Romania. They originated in China and were intended for Romanian companies located in Constanta, Stefanesti (Ilfov County), Bucharest and Germany.
