On August 12, in a joint action, Serbian police and customs authorities discovered and seized 5,500 clothing items (mostly socks and sweat suits) believed to infringe the IP rights of the world’s leading sportswear companies, including Adidas, Hummel, Puma, and Converse.

The goods were seized in the town of Bogutovac, west-central Serbia, after an inspection of a passenger bus traveling from the town of Novi Pazar, southwest Serbia, to the town of Pancevo, 15 km northeast from Belgrade.
