Serbian Customs Seize Counterfeit Clothing, Bags

On November 5, 2014, the Serbian customs officials at the Gradina border crossing point with Bulgaria discovered and seized 200 clothing items and 300 women’s leather bags suspected of being counterfeit.

The majority of seized goods bore the marks of Yves Saint Lauren, Hello Kitty, Chanel and Adidas.

The fake items were discovered in a truck driven by a 47-year-old Macedonian citizen. The goods originated in Turkey and were intended for the Bosnian market.
