Romanian Customs Seize Counterfeit Balls, Graters, Ovens

On March 10, 2014, the Romanian customs officials seized goods believed to be counterfeit the total value of which is approximately EUR 107,400 (USD 150,000).

The seized goods include an unidentified number of inflatable balls, aluminum graters, electric ovens, compression stockings and back support girdles infringing intellectual property rights of Disney, Nicer Dicer, FlavorWave, Slim N’ Lift and Kosmodisk.

The seizures were made at the port of Constanta, eastern Romania. The goods originated in China and were intended for the Romanian market, namely two companies in Bucharest.
