Romanian Customs Seize Counterfeit Toys, Children’s Clothes

Last month, the Romanian customs officials seized more than 21,000 items believed to be counterfeit, the total value of which is approximately EUR 224,000 (USD 309,000).
The seized goods include more than 7,000 dolls and plastic pianos bearing the Monster High mark and more than 14,000 children’s hats, caps and gloves bearing Hello Kitty and Monster Energy marks.
The seizures were made at the port of Constanta, eastern Romania. The goods originated in China and were intended for the Romanian market.
