Slovenian PTO Part of OHIM’s Common Harmonized Database

Sep 26 2013 - 15:57

On September 11, 2013, the Slovenian Intellectual Property Office (SIPO) became fully integrated into the Common Harmonized Database on Classification of Goods and Services, after it completed the translation of the entire database into Slovenian.

The complete set of Slovenian translations of this common multilingual database of classification terms is available to all users through the TMclass tool, a free, online tool that enables classification, translation and verification of the goods and services needed when applying for trademark protection.

The common database is a joint project between the Office for Harmonization in the Internal Market (OHIM) and the PTOs of member states. Its aim is to establish common harmonized classification practices.
