The Polish authorities have recently seized eight tons of counterfeit laundry powder of a well-known brand and arrested seven members of the organized crime group that produced and distributed the fake powder across Poland and abroad.

After receiving tips and searching 30 suspect locations, the police discovered the counterfeiters and their fake washing powder production plant in the town of Mińsk Mazowiecki, central Poland.

In addition to the fake laundry powder, the police discovered and seized more than 300,000 counterfeit cigarettes of a Polish brand, which the counterfeiters were also producing and distributing.
